The Altadena Historical Society is a non-profit group dedicated to preserving and archiving the rich history of our Southern California community through:

Maintaining a comprehensive archive of news articles, photographs, maps, printed materials, oral histories, and electronic resources Publishing a quarterly newsletter, The Echo, featuring news, feature stories, event announcements, and other useful resources for members Opening our archives to students, researchers and the general public and assisting with research requests Offering informative and engaging guest speakers at the Altadena Community Center on a wide range of topics related to local history Publishing original materials, such as the award-winning 2004 book "Altadena: Between Wilderness and City" by local author Michele Zack And much more.
